Innovative Evangelism

In the 1990s Tony developed a multimedia series on Biblical archaeology that was well received. In 2001 he began work on a series of movies on the life of the Apostle Paul. As he saw professional people who were not attending church respond to the early version of this series, he realized he had tapped into a deep sense of curiosity and interest that could be used evangelistically.

Tony’s passionate desire to communicate the Blessed Hope to this audience led to his resignation from It Is Written at the end of 2003. This has permitted him to focus his full creative energy on producing the series on Paul while researching and writing future programs

A walk of faith

Since January 1, 2004 Tony has worked full-time for The Biblical World. This has been a major walk of faith that has been exceedingly rewarding both spiritually and emotionally. 2004 income from donations and sales to The Biblical World has been heavily subsidized by the Moore’s who refinanced their home and took a second mortgage to advance money for equipment and product printing. (The Biblical World follows the NAD Adventist salary scale.)

When people question his sanity, Tony will smile and say, “There could be a worse mid-life crisis than quitting your job! We are following our heart's passion to create tools and programs to reach lost people for Jesus.” His wife Helen is fully united with him in the decision to move forward with the ministry of The Biblical World. As they see people responding to the Paul series in public meetings and small groups they rejoice, knowing that God is using this ministry to make a difference for His kingdom.
